Kendrapara: In an unprecedented mishap of its type, an eleven-year-old school student suffered burns when an old cell phone battery burst at a school compound in Odisha's Kendrapara district on Feburary 1. The accident took place during mid-day meal break when the 6th standard student, Seikh Vekka, was playfully tossing the battery near the government-run Bahakuda upper primary school in Mahakalapada area, about 50 km from here, police said.
