Classification of the problems

1. Outside the school:

When the student leave their home for the school or vice-versa, they start facing insecurity. Accident, kidnapping, eveteasing etc. are some of the most repeated mishaps faced by the students. They come across with these problems between home and school.

2. In the school:

Even the students have been facing many problems within the school too. Corporal punishment is the biggest problem. In addition to this, accident cases do occur within the school.

Problems between home and school:

i. Road accidents

Most of the mishaps with school students happen on road. Students on cycle, rickshaw, van, tempo, auto rickshaws, mini-buses or afoot are frequently hit by large vehicles such as bus, truck etc.

ii. Kidnaps

This problem occur when there is personal rivalry between the abductors and the family of the student. Abduction cases also occur for ransom.

iii. Untraceable

Many a times students get untraceable for many reasons. They elope either with somebody else or by their own wish.

iv. Murdered after kidnap

This is the most heinous crime with the students. They are kidnapped and murdered many a times.

v. Eve teasing and molestation

This happens with the girl students. They are molestated on roads by other students as well as by strangers.

Students face these problems within the schools:

i. Corporal punishments

Corporal punishment is the biggest part of the problems of the students. The so called teachers use the sticks as well as their hands and legs to beat the students frequently. Physical torture is also used to frighten the little kids. Many a times corporal punishment has resulted into students death. But, it is not yet stopped.

ii. Carelessness

Carelessness of concerned people also results into harm to the students. It could be due to a weak wall or roof, stray animal-biting, stampede, fires, students' quarrel, etc. Ultimately the sufferer is always the student.

iii. Some heinous crimes

Students are unsafe. But more shocking is that the girls and little kids are more unsafe. Girls have been regular sufferers of eve-teasing and molestation. But, now there take place rape cases in the schools too. Even disabled children are found to be victims of such things.
